-5- <br /> Receipts are required and must be submitted for the <br /> following travel expense items. <br /> 1. Hotel/Motel charges. <br /> 2. Common Carrier tickets or stubs. <br /> 3. Parking charges. <br /> 4. Registration and workshop receipts. <br /> 5. Rental car receipts. <br /> 6. Gasoline, motor oil, and repair service receipts for <br /> County owned vehicles. <br /> 9.4.2 Travel Expenses <br /> The requester may: <br /> 1. Elect to pay all expenses out of personal <br /> funds and request reimbursement within thirty <br /> days of completed travel. Requests for less <br /> than $10.00 may be deferred and combined with <br /> subsequent month's request. Travel expenses <br /> properly documented and submitted within the <br /> prescribed time limit, shall be reimbursed on <br /> the next scheduled pay date; or <br /> 2. Request that a check or checks be prepared <br /> for registration, fees, meals, air travel or <br /> personal vehicle village, and lodging. <br /> If a travel advance is requested, the requester shall <br /> prepare a check request form for each check requested. <br /> After required signatures are obtained, the check <br /> request(s) shall be forwarded to the Finance Department <br /> no less than five working days prior to next scheduled <br /> accounts payable date. <br /> Travel advances shall be cleared within thirty working <br /> days after return by completing a Travel Expenses <br /> Report. Failure to do so may result in an amount equal <br /> to the advance being deducted from the traveler's next <br /> pay check. <br /> ARTICLE IV (Section 3.1) Pg. 39 <br /> County Government shall remain accessible to the citi- <br /> zens. Many critical functions mast be staffed regardles <br /> of weather conditions. However, when severe storms <br /> cause extremely hazardous driving conditions, County <br /> operations shall be modified in accordance with the <br /> Hazardous Weather Plan. <br /> During periods of hazardous weather conditions the <br /> follwing shall apply to employees: <br /> (a) Administrative Leave shall be granted for official- <br /> ly delayed openings and/or early closings. <br /> Note: The asterisk itmes were approved by the BOCC on 1/5/87 <br />
