I had a long-await< : meeting this morning; <br /> J <br /> the si. ect proved <br /> constraHe now represents a company SYatems Craft, Inc. that new type of modular construction. <br /> Highlights of this construction are: <br /> (1) modular sections made of concrete and steel; <br /> (2) built in 1/3 expected time of stick-built (at approxi- <br /> mately same cost) ; <br /> :3) some modules or all of a building are taly movable; <br /> can build as many as 3 stories. <br /> 1 have asked Jim to take a quick loJ;c at the Northside and <br /> Stanback properties and give us a quick and dirty scoping of <br /> Possible adaptations to those sites. <br /> I have also asked him to meet with Ksr., the Superintendents <br /> of SchL.;as and a CHR representative to hear his presentation and <br /> see his• .!ides. <br /> :•fter that, unless there has emerged some critical reason 1 <br /> not to investigate further, I would think a presentation to the <br /> Hoard - at a regular Board meeting -_ be held.
