BID AWARD - AMBULANCE REPLACEMENT (see permanent agenda <br /> file for a copy of the letter from Chief deFriess) <br /> Mr. Ray deFriess, Chief of the South Orange Rescue 1 <br /> Squad, introduced a letter and spoke in favor of the County <br /> awarding the bid for the purchase of a Type II ambulance to <br /> Southeastern Emergency Equipment. He indicated the service <br /> record for the Frontline (the make of ambulance offered by <br /> Southeastern in its bid) is superior and the vehicle is <br /> similar to those that are presently in service making it easy <br /> to correct electrical problems and easier for volunteers to <br /> use the ambulance.
