O8 <br /> SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO 8 7 <br /> NATIONAL FlOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM <br /> FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT CRITERIA WHICHI BECOME. <br /> EFFECTIVE ON OCTOBER 1, 1986 <br /> For S60.3 (c), (d), and (e) communities: <br /> C (c) i.e. , FIA Administrator has 'provided a notice of final <br /> flood elevations for one or more special flood hazard areas on <br /> the community 's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated other <br /> special flood hazard areas without base flood elevations on the <br /> community's FIRM, but has not identified a regulatory floodway <br /> or coastal high hazard area]; - <br /> -p.1(d) i.e. , FIA Administrator has provided a notice "of <br /> final base flood elevations within Zones A1-30 and/or AE on <br /> the community 's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated- AO <br /> zones, AH zones, 499 zones, and A zones on the community's <br /> FIRM and has, provided data from which the community shall <br /> designate its regulatory floodway]; <br /> C(e) i.e. , FIA Administrator has provided a notice of final <br /> base flood elevations within Zones A1-30 and/or AE on the <br /> community's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated AR zones, <br /> AO zones, A 99 zones, and A zones on the community's FMK, and <br /> has identified on the community 's • FIRM coastal high hazard <br /> areas by designating Zones V1-30, YE, and/or VI ). <br /> 1. Manufactured Home Revisions. The final rule made significant <br /> revisions to NFU criteria that apply to "manufactured homes" <br /> (previously mobile homes) . If your community permits the - <br /> placement of "manufactured homes" in special flood hazard <br /> areas, make the following changes: - <br /> (a) Definition of "manufactured home." You should replace the <br /> definition of "mobile home" in your ordinance with' the <br /> definition of "manufactured home" in 559. 3 of the final <br /> rule. Note that the definition of "manufactured home" <br /> includes "park trailers, travel trailers, and other <br /> „ - - . - . . . - • _ - - - . . ; 1 <br /> • , - - . - - Y. . . r . r . - • . - <br /> provision 1n your definition if vi a can demonstrate that <br /> • - - - - - . . . - 1 ation which WAUtr1 <br /> reclude erm t s <br /> or limit placement to less than 180 days. <br /> (b) Definition of "manufactured home park or subdivision." <br /> You should delete definitions of "existing mobile home <br /> park or mobile home subdivision," "expansion to an exist- <br /> ing mobile home park or mobile home subdivision," "mobile <br /> home park or mobile home subdivision," and "new mobile <br /> home park or mobile home subdivision_" You should add the <br /> definition of "manufactured home park or subdivision" In <br /> the final rule to your ordinance. <br />
