The planned layout <br /> of streets should minimize overall length of ?v <br /> streets and provide for the safe, continuous flow <br /> of traffic within the mobile home park. <br /> 4. All streets within a mobile home park shall <br /> be located within a forty (40) foot right-of-way, <br /> and the travelway for all streets shall be at <br /> least eighteen (18) feet in width and must <br /> satisfy the drainage standards specified in <br /> Orange County's .Soil Erosion and Sedj.mentation <br /> Control Ordinance. All streets shall be <br /> constructed with paved, all-weather surfaces <br /> consisting of four (4) inches of base material <br /> (crusher run) and one and one-half (1-1/2) inches <br /> of 1-2 asphalt or tar and gravel surface <br /> treatment consisting a minimum of six (6) inches <br /> of base material (crusher run) covered with <br /> alternating layers of tar and pea-size gravel. <br /> 5. Every street within a mobile home park shall <br /> have a maintained six (6) foot wide shoulder <br /> running parallel and adjacent to each side of the <br /> paved street surface. The shoulder section may <br /> be used for walkways, driveways, grass or <br /> low-growing vegetative ground cover or utility <br /> rights-of-way. <br /> 6 . Cul-de-sacs or deadend streets are permitted <br /> within mobile home parks; provided, however, the <br /> maximum length of a cul-de-sacs shall be eight <br /> hundred (800) feet. Cul-de-sacs shall have a <br /> paved turnaround radius of forty-five (45) feet <br /> with a right-of-way radius of fifty-five (55) <br /> feet. <br /> 7. Streets shall be laid out so as to intersect <br /> as nearly as possible at right angles, and no <br /> street intersection shall intersect another <br /> street at an angle less than sixty (60) degrees. <br /> The turning radius at street intersections shall <br /> not be less than thirty (30) feet. Offset <br /> intersections are to be avoided, but where <br /> permitted, they shall be separated by a minimum <br /> distance of two hundred (200) feet between street <br /> center lines. <br /> Where streets serving a mobile home park <br /> intersect with a State-maintained street, the <br /> intersection design shall conform to the <br /> standards of the North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation specified in $11bdiviplAn Roa 1s <br /> Rinimum Construction nandards. <br /> 8. Each mobile home space shall have <br /> off-street parking facilities for two (2) <br /> vehicles. Each parking space must be at least <br /> nine (9) feet in width and eighteen (18) feet in <br /> depth and must be located entirely on the mobile <br />
