Marshall, Commissioners <br /> Moses Carey, Stephen Halkiotis, John Hartwell and Don Willhoit. <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Barry Jacobs and members <br /> Sharlene Pilkey, Carl Walters, Steve Yuhasz, Betty Margison, Prince Taylor, <br /> Dan Eddleman, Chris Best, Tim Hubbard, and Mike Lewis. <br /> STAFF PRESENT: County Manager, Kenneth R. Thompson, Clerk to the <br /> Board, Beverly Blythe, Administrative Secretary, Joanna Bradshaw, Planning <br /> Director, Marvin Collins, Planners Gene Bell, Greg Szymik, Brad Torgan, <br /> Emily Crudup and Don Powell. <br /> A. BOARD COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> B. AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> Those people in the audience who signed up to speak will be recognized <br /> at the time their specific item is heard. <br /> 1. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> None <br /> PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> Chair Shirley Marshall read the public charge as printed below: <br /> The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County <br /> its respect. The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a <br /> respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. <br /> At any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe <br /> this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending member to leave the <br /> meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail <br /> to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a <br /> genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. <br /> C. INTRODUCTORY REMARKS - COUNCILMAN DAVID GODSCHALK <br /> ALDERPERSON JUDITH WEGNER <br /> Chair Marshall opened the public hearing and indicated that Councilman <br /> David Godschalk of Chapel Hill and Alderperson Judith Wegner of Carrboro <br /> would make introductory comments.
