TELEPHONE <br /> The basic charge per County extension should be budgeted <br /> at $30 per month. <br /> The basic charge includes only those lines terminating <br /> at the County PBX in Hillsborough. Additional services, <br /> such as satellite offices with separate phone systems, <br /> all data lines and all long distance charges should be <br /> budgeted in addition to the $30 monthly extension <br /> charge. <br /> You may find information listed on Exhibit A helpful <br /> when budgeting telephones, sub-account "11". <br /> Departments anticipating changes in their phone <br /> configuration during '87-'88 should use the following <br /> cost estimates when budgeting: <br /> Purchase and installation of new phone - $175/each <br /> Relocation of existing phone - $80 <br /> Software changes - $52 per hour <br /> (Includes changing features on a given extension, <br /> changing ringing priorities within a department, etc. ) <br /> 4. MOTOR POOL CHARGEBACKS <br /> 4 Cylinder vehicles - $0.17 per mile <br /> 6 Cylinder vehicles - $0.19 per mile <br /> 8 Cylinder vehicles - $0.20 per mile <br /> Vans and pick-ups - $0.25 per mile <br /> Mini-busses - $0.45 per mile <br /> Busses (30 passenger or more) and specialized equipment <br /> such as ambulances, heavy trucks and tractors will be <br /> billed at actual cost of repairs and supplies. <br /> 5. POSTAGE <br /> Average monthly postage as processed through the Central <br /> Services postage equipment is listed by department on <br /> Exhibit A. <br /> These expenses should be budgeted in sub-account "12". <br /> 6. STANDARD OFFICE EQUIPMENT <br /> Cost estimates for more commonly purchased office <br /> equipment is attached as Exhibit B. The Purchasing <br /> Department would gladly assist in obtaining estimates <br /> for items not listed. <br /> NOTE: Equipment items costing in excess of $100 each <br /> and all furniture items with a useful life of <br /> more than one year should be budgeted in sub- <br /> account "70" or "74". <br />
