The Orange County Board of Education is asking <br /> for many important items for our schools, including: <br /> * Increase in pay for pus drivers. This may attract the <br /> responsible adults needed to transport our children. <br /> * Funding for an aide for the 4th and 5th arade teachers at <br /> the elementary schools. <br /> * Increase in the local teacher supplement. This helps to <br /> attract and keep good teachers in Orange County. Your <br /> children need the best teachers money can buy! <br /> * Initiating a supplement for classified personnel , <br /> including classroom aides, maintainance and food service <br /> staff . <br /> * Partial funding of Magical Thoughts at C.W. Stanford <br /> Junior High School . <br /> The County Commissioners need to hear from the parents <br /> of Orange County. The School Board needs your <br /> participation. Please plan to attend. <br /> If you cannot attend, but would like the Commissioners <br /> to hear your support, we can read a statement from you. <br /> Please put your comments on this sheet, with your name and <br /> send this back to your child's teacher.
