5,000 square feet; a minimum spacing between units of 20 <br /> feet/22 feet between units and the street; requirements <br /> for unit/street numbering; hard surfaced streets/minimum <br /> O O'/• of 18 feet in width; solid skirting or foundation <br /> enclosures around each unit base; a 100-foot buffer <br /> strip requirement along the project perimeter; and <br /> recreation areas as required by zoning and subdivision <br /> regulations. <br /> 2. Amend Article 11.7 NONCONFORMING LOTS by deleting <br /> provisions which require the combination of contiguous <br /> nonconforming lots to create conforming lots. The <br /> amendment would allow owners of lots which do not meet <br /> lot area and width requirements and which existed prior <br /> to the adoption of zoning regulations to build a <br /> one-family detached dwelling on each such lot in their <br /> ownership, provided setback requirements and applicable <br /> Health Department regulations are met. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY SUBDIVISION REGULATIQN$ <br /> The proposed amendment to the Subdivision Regulations <br /> under consideration would revise Section IV-B-8 LANDSCAPING AND <br /> BUFFER REQUIREMENTS by changing the standards for determining the <br /> number of trees to be planted along street frontages and reducing <br /> the minimum required tree/shrub size to be installed. <br /> FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION ORDINANCE <br /> The proposed amendment to the Flood Damage Prevention <br /> Ordinance would make the provisions consistent with National <br /> Flood Insurance Program floodplain management criteria revisions <br /> enacted August 25 , 1986. The criteria restrict manufactured <br /> homes (mobile homes) from flood prone areas; require <br /> floodproofing of mechanical/utility equipment; require fully <br /> enclosed areas subject to flooding to allow for entry and exit of <br /> floodwaters; modify requirements for certification of the lowest <br /> floor elevation; and require the use of base flood elevation and <br /> floodway data. <br /> ********************************************************** <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and be <br /> heard. Public comment must be received during the public <br /> hearing.
