Mk <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session at the Orange County Courthouse, <br /> 106 Margaret Lane in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular <br /> place of meeting, at 7 : 30 P.M. , on February 2 , 1987 . <br /> Present: Chairman Shirley Marshall, presiding, and <br /> Commissioners Moses Carey, Stephen Halkiotis, John Hartwell and <br /> Don Willhoit _ <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: Gordon Baker, Finance Director and Beverly <br /> Blythe, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners. <br /> Commissioner Moses Carey introduced the following order <br /> authorizing bonds which was read: <br /> ORDER AUTHORIZING $200, 000 <br /> SANITARY SEWER BONDS <br /> BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Commissioners for the County <br /> of Orange: <br /> 1. That, pursuant to The Local Government Bond Act, as <br /> amended, the County of Orange, North Carolina, is hereby author- <br /> ized to contract a debt, in addition to any and all other debt <br /> which said County may now or hereafter have power or authority to <br /> contract, and in evidence thereof to issue Sanitary Sewer Bonds <br /> in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding $200, 000 for the <br /> purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br /> constructing a portion of a sanitary sewer system for said <br /> County, including the construction of sewage collector, inter- <br /> ceptor and force mains and lines, sewage pumping facilities and <br /> appurtenant facilities, the construction of a sewage main to <br /> transport sewage to the sanitary sewer system of the Town of <br /> Hillsborough for treatment and the acquisition- of any necessary - <br />
