NATIONAL FlOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM <br /> FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT CRITERIA WHICH BECOME <br /> EFFECTIVE ON OCTOBER 1, 1986 <br /> For 560.3 (c), (d), and (e) communities: <br /> [ (c) i.e. , FIA Administrator has 'provided a notice of final <br /> flood elevations for one or more special flood hazard areas on <br /> the community 's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated other <br /> special flood hazard areas without base flood elevations on th- <br /> community 's FIRM, but has not identified a regulatory floodway <br /> or coastal high hazard area]; - - <br /> .[(d) i.e. , FIA Administrator has provided a notice -of <br /> final base flood elevations within Zones A1-30 and/or AE -on <br /> the commnunity 's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated_ AO <br /> Zones, AH zones, A99 zones, and A zones on the community's <br /> FIRM and has, provided data from which the community shall <br /> • designate its regulatory floodway]; <br /> [ (e) i.e. , FIA Administrator has provided a notice of final <br /> base flood elevations within Zones A1-30 and/or AE on. the <br /> community's FIRM and, if appropriate, has designated AR zones, <br /> AO zones, A .99 zones, and A zones on the comiminity*s FIRM, and <br /> has identified on the community 's' FIRM coastal high hazard - <br /> areas by designating Zones V1-30., VE, and/or 101. _ <br /> . 1. Manufactured Home Revisions. The final rule made significant. <br /> revisions to NFIP criteria that apply to_ "manufactured' homes" _ <br /> - (previously mobile homes) . If your community permits the - <br /> placement of "manufactured homes" in special flood hazard <br /> areas, make the following changes: - <br /> (a) Definition of "manufactured home." You should replace the <br /> -definition of "mobile home" in your ordinance with- the <br /> definition of "manufactured home" in 159.1 or the final <br /> - rule. Note that the definition of "manufactured home" <br /> includes "park trailers, travel trailers, and other <br /> U - 0 - - • - • • - - • - <br /> consecutive days. You should. add the <br /> definition of "manufactured home park or subdivision" in <br /> the final rule to your ordinance. <br />
