O5 <br /> IMPACT: The EDC believes that the inclusion of the Chamber Execu- <br /> tives as ex—officio members will reinforce the county--wide, pubLic/ <br /> private nature of the Economic Development Commission, and will <br /> improve communications and strengthen linkages between the Economic <br /> Development Commission, and the two Chambers of Commerce, and their <br /> Committee of 100. In this way the effectiveness of the MC will be <br /> enhanced. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br /> following Amendment to their "RESOLUTION CREATING THE ORANGE COUNTY <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION", dated December 14, 1982: " <br /> "That the Executive Director of the Chapel. HiLL/Ca rrboro Chamber of <br /> Commerce and the Executive Director of the Hillsborough Area Chamber <br /> of Commerce be ex—officio, non—voting members of the Commission." <br />
