Equal Employment Opportunity (a) The Agency will not discrimipate against any employee, applicant for employment or subcontractor because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. The Agency shall take affirmative action to insure that applicants are employed and subcontractors are selected, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. Such action shall include, but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotions, or transfers; recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoffs or terminations; rates of pay or other forms of compensation; selection for training including apprenticeship; and participation in recreational and educational activities. The Agency certifies that it presently has in effect such an affirmative action program which specifies goals and target dates to assure the implementation of such plan. The Agency agrees to post in a conspicuous place available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to be provided setting forth the provisions of this non-discrimination clause. The Agency will in all solicitations or advertisements for subcontractors or employees placed by or on behalf of the Agency, state that all qualified applications will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. The Agency will cause the foregoing provisions to be inserted in all subcontracts for any work covered by this contract so that such provisions will be binding upon each subcontractor provided that the foregoing provisions shall not apply to subcontracts for less than $10,000.00. (b) The Agency shall keep such records and submit such reports concerning the racial and ethnic origin of applicants for employment and employees as COG or the Concerned Funding Agency may require.
