The Division of Aging, Department of Roman Resources <br /> shall specify rates of payment for the services. . <br /> (q) Up to three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) in <br /> Social Services Block Grant funds say be expended for this <br /> purpose in this section in fiscal year 1986-87. These funds <br /> shall be allocated as follows: <br /> (1) Suf ficieot funds to establish and maintain a full- <br /> tine position of Respite Care Services Comsoltaat vitbio Ithe <br /> Division of Aging, Department of Mumma 8esources. <br /> consultant shall provide ongoing technical assistance to the Area <br /> Agencies on Aging and prepare an annual fiscal report on the <br /> program for presentation to the Joint Legislative Commission on <br /> Governmental Operations and to the Fiscal DesEarcb Division of <br /> the Legislative Services Office ao later than the first of !!ay <br /> each year. <br /> (2) All other 'lands to the Area Agencies on Aging, <br /> proportionally based on the °umber of elderly citizens of 75 <br /> years or more in the regions, to fund the respite care program <br /> established by this act. Revenues received from clients' <br /> payments shall be used by the provider agencies =to provide <br /> additional respite services, as defined by this section. <br /> This <br /> funding allocation say be changed by the Secretary of the <br /> Department of Sumas Sesources upon the recomsendatioa of the <br /> Director of the Division of -Aging, the Respite Care Service <br /> Consultant in the Division of Aging, and the Area Agencies on <br /> Aging, after these entities have considered utilization of <br /> services, patient age, marital status, caregiver capacities, <br /> dependency , disease and mental status data on clients served by <br /> the programs. These data shall be provided annually to the Area <br /> Agencies on Aging by all respite care service providers. <br /> 6 <br />
