In recognition of citizen concerns, the Board <br /> instructed the Staff to prepare an outline for a <br /> study which address issues identified at the public <br /> 11 (1 hearings including design standards for the Rural <br /> Buffer district. The study is to address short and <br /> long-range concerns and propose a completion <br /> schedule. As. many issues as possible were to be <br /> addressed and presented at the joint public hearing <br /> with Chapel Hill on March 10. ,1987. <br /> IMPACT: Development and approval of a study outline would <br /> inform the Board and area residents of issues to be <br /> addressed and the time schedule for work <br /> completion. A study outline would also enable <br /> Staff to proceed in accord with the Board's <br /> directives. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Approval of study outline as proposed. <br /> (See proposed study outline.) <br />
