And, given the possibility then of a tie vote, <br /> - to make provisions for resolving a tie vote by carrying the issue before the <br /> full Commission. <br /> NEED: <br /> The inclusion of immediate past Chair is standard practice in most <br /> organizations. Also, such involvement preserves continuity in leadership <br /> not currently provided for in the structure of the Executive Committee. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approve the by-law change as incorporated in Article V by the <br /> underlined word addition. <br />
