Dr. Donald Willhoit <br /> November 3, 1986 <br /> Page Two <br /> In light of the Town's emergency water -supply needs, Orange County is <br /> hereby requested to take whatever action is necessary to immediately grant <br /> OWASA a variance from the minimum lot size provisions of the Orange County <br /> Zoning Ordinance. The requested variance would be solely for the <br /> purpose of acquiring the land parcel needed for completion of tImptccosed <br /> water pumping station which would provide emergency assistance for the <br /> Town of Hillsborough. A water pumping station is a permitted use in the <br /> general project site. OWASA staff will notify the County when an <br /> agreement has been reached with a landowner for the purchase of a suitable <br /> pump station site. <br /> Thank you very much for your assistance in this effort.
