_v <br /> HAZEN AND SAWYER � <br /> ENGINEERS . <br /> • <br /> STATEMENT OF STANDARD CHARGES <br /> TIME CHARGEABLE TO PROJECT <br /> Work is billed at 2.25 times payroll costs for time of principals <br /> and employees of Hazen and Sawyer and associated design professional <br /> firms directly -chargeable to the project. Payroll costs include base <br /> • <br /> salary, vacations, sick leave, holidays, payroll taxes and insurance <br /> • and pension plan. These rates apply to time actually devoted to the <br /> job and to travel required during norifial working hours and on week- <br /> ends to suit the clients' convenience. - - <br /> LEGAL PROCEEDINGS <br /> Higher rates will apply to appearances and testimony in court and <br /> commission proceedings, and to other assignments where warranted by <br /> special circumstances. - <br /> EXPENSES CHARGEABLE TO PROJECT <br /> Expenses such as costs for travel and subsistence, long-distance <br /> telephone, telegraph, use of computer, reproduction costs, soil <br /> borings, laboratory work, and fees for special consultants and <br /> surveyors authorized by the client, will be billed at actual cost <br /> plus 15 percent handling charge. <br /> BILLING <br /> Invoices are rendered monthly unless otherwise stipulated. Invoices <br /> not paid within forty-five (45) days are considered past due and <br /> . subject to a late payment fee of 1-1/2 percent per month (18% annually) _ <br />
