The project <br /> appears well designed and will have no adverse affects on your system. Therefore, we <br /> recommend that the Town approve the design of this project. <br /> The only concern we did have, pertained to specifications for pavement <br /> replacement. We were not given a copy of the technical sp ecifications to <br /> review. <br /> However, a telephone call to Mr. Kevin Carter, Design Engineer with Hazen & Sawyer, <br /> on June 18, 1986 indicated that the specifications require that all pavement replacement <br /> be in accordance with North Carolina Department of Transportation specifications. <br /> With this assurance that the Town's street would be repaired to State standards, there <br /> should be no problems. <br /> If you have any questions about our review, please give me a call. <br /> • <br /> Sincerely, <br /> • <br /> Ra and D.
