Of the nine Board members, the following agencies will <br /> have automatic appointments*: Orange COunty Department on Aging, Joint <br /> : . Orange-Chatham Community Action, -0.P.C- Mental Health Center, Orange Chatham <br /> • ComprehensiVe Health Service6, andc_Oragge,COunty' Manager'sr.,Office. The <br /> remaining four non-agency members shall be chosen at large by the Orange <br /> County Board of Commissioners with priority being given to one private tran- <br /> sit0 operator. Agencies may also select an Official Alternate. _ <br /> . 2. Terms and Replacements - . <br /> Non-agency members of the Transportation Board shall serve two <br /> year terms but no. board member may serve more than two consecutive two• <br /> year terms. - • . <br /> 3. _Marmillg0U1241., • <br /> All _vacancies on the Transportation. Board occurring from any <br /> cause shall be filled by appointment by the County Board of Commissioners, <br /> or the Agency appointee. The person appointed shall serve for the unexpired <br /> portion of the term. • <br /> • <br /> 4. Attendance <br /> Any member of the Board who misses more than three consecutive <br /> meetings shall lose his/her status as a member of the Board and shall be <br /> replaced by the Orange County Board of commissioners or Agency appointing <br /> them. * Following the second absence, the Secretary will notify the member <br /> in writing of the attendance policy. <br /> . . <br />
