Payroll costs include base <br /> salary, vacations, sick leave, holidays, payroll taxes and insurance <br /> • • • - and pension plan. These rates apply to time actually devoted to-the <br /> • job and to travel required during normal working hours and on week- <br /> ends to suit the clients' convenience. <br /> LEGAL PROCEEDINGS <br /> • • • <br /> • <br /> Higher rates will apply to appearances and testimony in court and <br /> commission proceedings, and to other assignments where warranted by <br /> • special circumstances. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> ' • EXPENSES CHARGEABLE TO PROJECT <br /> • Expenses such as costs for travel and subsistence, long-distance <br /> . telephone, telegraph, use of computer, reproduction costs, soil <br /> • borings, laboratory work, and fees for special consultants and • <br /> • surveyors authorized by the client, will be billed at actual cost <br /> plus 15 percent handling charge. <br /> BILLING <br /> • <br /> Invoices are rendered monthly unless otherwise stipulated. Invoices <br /> not paid within forty-five (45) days are considered past due and <br /> • subject to a late payment fee of 1-1/2 percent per month (18% annually). <br /> • <br />
