(2) acres. References <br /> within the Subdivision Regulations indicate that <br /> new subdivision plats submitted for approval must <br /> comply with the two-acre standard contained in <br /> the Land Use Plan. <br /> While such references exist, a direct statement <br /> to that effect is needed. Furthermore. Orange <br /> County's Subdivision Regulations are enforced in <br /> the Town of Hillsborough, and specific language <br /> is needed to indicate that lot areas for <br /> subdivisions within the Hillsborough planning <br /> jurisdiction must meet the standards set forth in <br /> the Hillsborough Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IMPACT: The proposed ordinance amendment recommends the <br /> following wording for the first sentence in the <br /> first paragraph of Section IV-B-1: <br /> "The minimum lot size shall be as required by the <br /> Orange County Land Use Plan, Orange County Zoning <br /> Ordinance or the Hillsborough Zoning Ordinance, <br /> whichever is applicable." <br /> Approval of the amendment would clarify the <br />
