Of- . <br /> critical importance is the -acquisition of a. <br /> suitable parcel of land in the Calvander area <br /> for a pump station. (See attached OWASA letter <br /> of 11--3-86.) . <br /> The Orange County Zoning Ordinance requires a _ <br /> minimum of 40,000 square feet of land east of <br /> N.C. 86 And two acres west of N.C. 86 CPA <br /> Land Use Plan standard) . OWASA has Indicated a <br /> . site of 10.000 square feet is sufficient for the <br /> pump station. <br /> Mebane Home Telephone wishes to acquire property <br /> in the vicinity of Mebane Oaks Road in Cheeks <br /> Township to install a telephone exchange <br /> (without business office) . Representatives of <br /> the company have indicated that 5 .00.0 square <br /> feet is sufficient to serve their needs. <br /> OWASA has requested that Orange County waive its <br /> lot area standards to permit the installation of <br /> the pump station.
