IMPACT: Article 4.1 of the Zoning Ordinance permits 4 <br /> telephone exchanges and similar facilities as a <br /> matter of right in all zoning districts. Such <br /> uses, however. must comply with the provisions of <br /> Article 6.16 .12 which contains standards for <br /> building size and design, landscaping and <br /> screening. The proposed amendment would add a <br /> new subsection d) which would establish a minimum <br /> required for area of 10.000 square feet or the <br /> lot area required by the zoning district in which <br /> the use is located, whichever is less. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Department recommends approval <br /> of the proposed amendment to the Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br />
