Of critical importance is <br /> the acquisition of a suitable parcel of land in <br /> the Calvander area. <br /> The Orange County Zoning Ordinance requires a <br /> minimum lot size of 40.000 square feet in areas <br /> • east of Old N.C. 86 And two acres west of the <br /> thoroughfare. OWASA has indicated a site of <br /> 10 .000 sqaure feet is sufficient for the pump <br /> station. <br /> Mebane Home Telephone wishes to acquire property <br /> in the vicinity of Mebane Oaks Road to install a <br /> telephone exchange (without offices) . <br /> Representatives of the company have indicated <br /> that 5,000 square feet is sufficient to serve <br /> their needs. <br />
