Rural <br /> Buffer (RB) , as Article 4.2.1. <br /> NEED: On October 13, 1986, the Joint Planning Area Land <br /> Use Plan was adopted. As part of the Plan, a <br /> Rural Buffer land use designation was approved <br /> with a minimum lot size requirement of two (2) <br /> acres per dwelling unit. <br /> Specific provisions do not exist in the Zoning <br /> ordinance which define the Rural Buffer district, <br /> provide criteria for district application and <br /> identify permitted uses. <br /> IMPACT: Approval of the proposed amendment would conform <br /> the Orange County Zoning Ordinance with the Rural <br /> Buffer designation adopted October 13, 1986 as <br /> part of the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Department recommends approval <br /> of the proposed amendment to the Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br />
