DUMPSTER SITE LEASES - WALNUT GROVE CHURCH ROAD AND HIGH ROCK ROAD <br /> Approve two agreements for the lease of two dumpster sites located <br /> on Walnut Grove Church Road and High Rock Road and authorize the Chair to <br /> sign. The cost for each dumpster site is $50.00 per month for a five year <br /> period. <br /> 2• APPOINTMENTS - OPEN SPACE TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> To approve the appointments to the Open Space Technical Advisory <br /> Committee as presented by Planning Director Marvin Collins. <br /> 3 UTHORIZATION OF AN ABOVE ENTRY EMPLOYMENT 0 FER <br /> Salary Grade a78, Stepp 10A. employment offer for the Health Director at <br /> 4. EXPANDED PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS <br /> To authorize the creation of two Eligibility Specialist I <br /> positions in the Department of Social Services effective January 1, 1988 <br /> at a cost to the County of $1, 036.48. <br /> G. ITEMS FOR DECISION - REGULAR AGENDA <br /> 1. HEALTH PROMOTION ALLOCATION (A letter explaining the health <br /> promotion program is in the permanent agenda file in the Clerk's Office) . <br /> Meg Malloy, a nutritionist in the Health Department, stated that <br /> an allocation of $17,462.23 is available from the N.C. Division of Health <br /> Services for use in FY 87-88 to develop and implement a health promotion <br /> program. This program will be offered to County employees in the <br /> beginning phase and hopefully will be expanded <br /> other organizations. The $17,462.23 wilbeallocatedlasefollowshools and <br /> $11,500.00 - 1/2 year funding for Health Program Coordinator <br /> $ 1,302.23 - Operating costs <br /> $ 4, 660.00 - Medical equipment - Reflotron <br /> 2. PROPOSED WATER/SEWER POLICY <br /> Deleted. <br /> 3 . ADDITION OF SUMMERWIND, COACHWAY PARTRIDGE RUN, JEFFERSONS <br /> CHOICE, OUTRIDER TRACE, WHEELWRIGHT COMMON AND GREENBRIER STATION IN TH <br /> TRAILS SUBDIVISION TO THE STATE-MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM. - E <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded <br /> Marshall to approve the petition from DOT for the addition of Summerwind, <br /> Coachway, Partridge Run, Jefferson Choice, Outrider Trace, Wheelwright <br /> Common, and Greenbrier Station in the Trails Subdivision to the State <br /> Maintained Road System. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 4. JTPA SERVICE DELIVERY DESIGNATION <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, sec <br /> aydad by Chair to redesignate Orange County's JTPA service delivery area to the State Rural JTPA program and <br /> become members of the balance of State and <br /> administered by the State with regional trainers working with JTPA <br /> recipients. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 5.
