Building) : r <br /> g) ' and to considr <br /> e <br /> leasing additional space in Hillsborough. <br /> BACKGROUND; As the result of an an oin <br /> shortages in office and more g space evaluation, extreme <br /> particularly, <br /> to light in the Clerk of Court offices. It isle <br /> p space apparent that <br /> at <br /> the Clerk will deplete all available file spaceinetheNew <br /> Courthouse within weeks. <br /> In an effort to alleviate the problem it is proposed that: <br /> 1. ) The County Administration offices be relocated from the <br /> New Courthouse to the Court Street Annex; <br /> 2. ) The area vacated by Administration be reallocated to <br /> the Clerk of Court and the Court associated offices of <br /> the District Attorney, the Juvenile Services Division <br /> and Probation and Parole. <br /> In addition, it is proposed that the <br /> Support Enforcement, the Economic offices Development of Commission, <br /> Commission for Women, Employment Security Commission,issio , th, <br /> G.E.D. Classroom and the Job Training Programo isrilo the <br /> to the Sawyer Building and the Collins Building. <br /> relocated <br /> Cost factors are presented on the attached Supplemental Data <br /> Sheet. A financial analysis has been done and it has been <br /> determined the increased cost can be absorbed in the <br /> existing Public Works budget, where rent costs are <br /> appropriated. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: As <br /> the Board decides. <br />
