Building) : r g) ' and to considr e leasing additional space in Hillsborough. BACKGROUND; As the result of an an oin shortages in office and more g space evaluation, extreme particularly, to light in the Clerk of Court offices. It isle p space apparent that at the Clerk will deplete all available file spaceinetheNew Courthouse within weeks. In an effort to alleviate the problem it is proposed that: 1. ) The County Administration offices be relocated from the New Courthouse to the Court Street Annex; 2. ) The area vacated by Administration be reallocated to the Clerk of Court and the Court associated offices of the District Attorney, the Juvenile Services Division and Probation and Parole. In addition, it is proposed that the Support Enforcement, the Economic offices Development of Commission, Commission for Women, Employment Security Commission,issio , th, G.E.D. Classroom and the Job Training Programo isrilo the to the Sawyer Building and the Collins Building. relocated Cost factors are presented on the attached Supplemental Data Sheet. A financial analysis has been done and it has been determined the increased cost can be absorbed in the existing Public Works budget, where rent costs are appropriated. RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides.
