These <br /> counties were selected on the basis of (1) contiguous units of <br /> local government to Orange County, 2 <br /> areas, and (3) either County would provide the population abase <br /> to meet the threshold requirement. <br /> Person County was contacted, however, they will join the coun- <br /> ties of Granville and Vance for the next <br /> Chatham County is scheduled to consider joint program atio. <br /> with Orange County at their November 16 meeting. participation <br /> Based on Chatham County's decision, staff will bring forth <br /> recommendation at the meeting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Staff will present a recommendation at the meeting. <br />
