Walker Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> (URDER SEPARATE COVER) Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> • Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: The lease agreements are a part of the overall scheme to consolidate green <br /> • <br /> box sites throughout Orange County. These actions are being undertaken <br /> in an effort to improve efficiency and reduce operating cost. The leasing <br /> . <br /> of these 'two sites will replace six sites. The sites will be approximately <br /> one acre in size and bordered on all sides. The sites will accommodate <br /> twentyfive (25) dumpsters with some room for, growth. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> BACKEROUTD): <br /> Sanitation Division collects and transports solid waste materials <br /> for rural Orange County. Currently, there are fifty-three (53) sites <br /> scattered throughout Orange County. The leasing of the two sites <br /> will cut that number to fortynine (49) . <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> To approve lease and authorize Chair to sign. <br /> • <br />
