These rates apply to time actually devoted to the job and <br /> to travel required during normal working hours and on weekends to suit <br /> clients' convenience. <br /> Legal Proceedings <br /> Higher rates will apply to appearances and testimony in court and <br /> commission proceedings, and to other assignments where warranted ' <br /> by special circumstances, <br /> Expenses Chargeable to Project <br /> Expenses such as costs for travel and subsistence, long-distance <br /> telephone, telegraph, use of computer, reproduction costs, soil <br /> borings, laboratory work, and fees for special consultants, and <br /> surveyors authorized by the client, will be billed at actual cost plus <br /> • fifteen per cent handling charge. <br /> January 2, 1980 <br />
