I have gone over the Agreement thoroughly, along with <br /> my staff, and proposed several refinements or revisions to the <br /> Carrboro Board of Aldermen at their worksession on November 11 , <br /> 1986 . The following revisions were submitted to the Board in the <br /> form of a new revised Agreement (attached) dated November 3, 1986 <br /> which is on the consent agenda slated for their approval next <br /> Tuesday, November 18 , 1986 : <br /> 1 . Replace the terms "Ten-Year Transition Area" with <br /> "Twenty-Year Transition Area" with the term "Urban <br /> Transition Area" . <br /> 2 . Rename Section 1 . 2 "Definitions" and add subsection <br /> 1 . 2D to define "Development Permit" . <br /> 3. Revise Section 2 . 3(B) and 2 .4(B) to simplify the review <br /> process by alleviating details such as the number of <br /> copies required and etc. to be established <br /> administratively. In addition, revise this section to <br /> request only governing board comments and allow the <br /> governing boards the opportunity to establish advisory <br /> board review procedures. <br /> 4. Revise the title of Section 2 .4 to read "Permit <br /> Administration in Joint Planning Area Outside Urban <br /> Transition Area" rewrite and combine subsections B Sr C <br /> and omit subsections D & E. <br /> 5 . Revise "Exhibit A" Map to delineate urban transition <br /> area boundary and boundary between Chapel Hill and <br /> Carrboro, <br /> 6. Section 2 . 6 indicates in the last sentence that Exhibit <br /> A depicts current zoning districts . This information <br /> .pa was not provided in the County's revised Agreement . <br /> If and when it is provided, will this be the same <br />
