_ <br /> (11x)3.3—parking lots <br /> Parking lots provided for buildings to which Section 1.1 applies shall be provided <br /> with parking spaces as follows: <br /> a) Parking spaces for the handicapped shall be set aside and identified with above <br /> parking level signs for use by Individuals with physical disabilities.'Painted curb <br /> signs are acceplable. <br /> The minimum number of assigned spaces shall be as 10110ws: <br /> 1) A minimum of one such parking space for the handicapped shall be <br /> provided and In addition at least one space per 50 spaces shall be set aside <br /> for the handicapped. <br /> b) Parking spaces identified for the physically handicapped that we placed on the <br /> diagonal or vertical shall be a minimum ol 12 feet 6 inches wide and shall be <br /> located as near as possible to the main public entrance of a single building and <br /> Centrally located where practical in parking lots that serve more than one <br /> building. <br /> 'NOTE: General Statute 2047.5 and 20-37.6 have been amended in the definition of <br /> handicapped and parking privileges of the handicapped. Legal signage and <br /> use of required parking spaces is Included. See Appendix 0-6. <br />
