Article 10 Off-Street Parking and Loading (Contin- <br /> ued from 8-25-86) Handicapped Parking Facilities <br /> Presentation by Collins. <br /> No requirement exists in the Zoning Ordinance for <br /> the provision of handicapped parking facilities. <br /> such facilities are currently provided through the <br /> attachment of conditions of approval on <br /> subdivision platsi planned developments and <br /> special use permits, or through the application of <br /> the NC State Building Code requirements. <br /> The proposed ordinance amendments would require <br /> handicapped parking spaces to be a minimum of 13 <br /> feet in width and 20 feet in length. A minimum of <br /> two (2) hndicapped spaces or one (1) for every 20 <br /> standard parking spaces would be required.
