Jack Gates (Partial Width Right-Of Way <br /> Presentation by Collins. <br /> ‘ This agenda item is to consider a request for <br /> di partial width right-of- way of 40 feet for a <br /> distance of approximately 1,230 feet to serve a one <br /> lot minor subdivision on a lot known as Chapel Bill <br /> Township Map 112 Lot 6 (the Jack Gates for. Shirley <br /> Gentry Subdivision) . <br /> A minor subdivision of one lot, only could be created <br /> if a partial width right-of-way is granted to Jack <br /> Gates for his daughter Shirley Gentry. The more <br /> difficult problem will concern any further <br /> subdivision on any lots served by this private <br /> road. Alternatives to allow for further subdivision <br /> would, be: <br /> 1 . Obtain 10 ' additional easement. <br /> 2. Amend the Subdivision Regulations to allow for <br /> partial width right of- ways on Class A roads. <br /> 3 . Declare the road public with a width of 40 feet. <br /> A minor subdivision of one lot for his daughter <br /> would be possible. <br /> Grainger Barrett, representing three married <br /> daughters of Jack Gates, explained that Mr. Gates <br /> owned approximately thirty (30) acres of landlocked <br /> land behind Saffell, Inc. having no right-of-wayron <br /> a public road. Ten years ago a minor subdivision <br /> was done to give his two sons lots. Mr. Gates <br /> wishes to give lots to the three daughters. Mr. <br /> Barrett indicated that there had been a pre-existing <br /> sometime in <br /> 5 or nth: <br /> and the travelway meets Class B standards.
