Although the AT&T network design from Greensboro to <br /> Durham is not unique, nor are there chronic service <br /> issues related to this facility, AT&T is studying <br /> the feasibility of providing addit5„,nal facility <br /> diversity from Greensboro to Durham.. The <br /> conclusion of this study will be shared with the <br /> • <br /> Orange County Technical Task Force.- • <br /> AT&T is evaluating alternative ways to- inform • <br /> customers about how to contact the Cc;,mpany when <br /> they are experiencing problems with a long distance <br /> connection. The Technical Task Force expressesl a <br /> concern that customers do not know how to tell AT&T <br /> they are having trouble originating or receiving <br /> interLATA calls. <br /> AT&T is willing to work with the Local. Exchange <br /> Companies (LECs) to evaluate alternative serving <br /> arrangements between the facilities of AT&T and <br /> - those of the LECs, including direct connection from . <br /> a planned new local switch: in Hillsborough to <br /> AT&T's Point of Presence (POP) .
