PURPOSE: <br /> To provide specialized training for foster parents who provide care for "Willie M" <br /> (special, needs) -children. . <br /> NEED: For several years OPC Mental Health-and the Dept. . of Social Services have' jointly <br /> provided this foster parent training. Due to a vacancy at OPC Mental 'Health a - <br /> contract is needed to allow Orange County through the Department of Social Services. <br /> to purchase this training from another Mental Health professional. <br /> IMPACT: <br /> OPC Mental Health is seeking to provide funding for this joint training. The <br /> proposed contract will enable the purchase of this training prior to filling the <br /> training position. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve Service Contract. <br />
