X501 <br /> YES Phone Embers: 732-8181, 968-11501,. <br /> • <br /> 22T-0231. = <br /> • PURPOSE: To consider what further action-to take regarding- the County's complaint-- <br /> dtm.r disruption in long distance .telephone service. - <br /> • NEED: Since..'.respons`.es =of 'the telephone company were found to be unsatisfactory <br /> to the County the State of North Carolina Utilities Commission ordered a <br /> second response to be made by each company. Those have since been received <br /> HEM:,- and forwarded to the Telephone Technical Task Force for analysis and- . <br /> -- recommendation. The County has until October 27, 1986 to report its <br /> finding which must be according to one of four alternatives, i.e. : - <br /> ( )The relief offered in the further responses filed by the Respondents is- <br /> acceptable and we do not desire a public hearing in the proceeding. <br />• '( )TheF:further responses filed,by the Respondents. are not satisfactory, and <br /> we hereby-request a public hearing at which time 'we will present evidence ' _ <br /> in support of the complaint. <br /> ( )Although the further responses filed by the Respondents are not completely <br /> • <br /> • satisfactory to us, we do not request a public hearing at this time.
