Since adoption of the schedule, it <br /> has -become apparent that revisions are necessary to clarify <br /> certain fees and other "miscellaneous" schedules which were not <br /> foreseen earlier. <br /> IMPACT: The proposed amendments would clarify the application of fees <br /> to certain types of construction and plan review/approval <br /> procedures. In addition, the provision regarding "Late Fees" <br /> would be incorporated again, and all schedules containing fees <br /> ending in $ .50 would be rounded off to be consistent with the <br /> computerized permit system program. <br /> The proposed . amendments would also add fees for various "mis- <br /> cellaneous" inspections such as the moving and demolition of <br /> buildings, commercial and campaign signs, swimming pools and <br /> radio/TV towers. Fees would also be established to provide for <br /> the reimbursement of Town of Chapel Hill Engineering Staff <br /> inspecting streets, storm drainage, and water and sewer <br /> facilities constructed to Town standards. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the proposed amendment to the Inspection Fee <br /> Schedule. <br />
