SECTION VI <br /> MAXIMUM COMPENSATION PAYABLE <br /> The COUNTY shall compensate the APPRAISER for the <br /> services rendered under this agreement on the following <br /> basis: <br /> 1. For the basic services described in SECTION III, <br /> exclusive of those services rendered in accordance with any <br /> other sections of this agreement, the APPRAISER shall receive <br /> total maximum compensation not to exceed $5,000. In the <br /> event unforeseen circumstances result in the COUNTY desiring <br /> additional services whose cost is in excess of the total <br /> maximum compensation payable hereabove, a mutually agreeable <br /> written addendum to increase the maximum compensation payable <br /> shall be negotiated and incorporated into this agreement. <br /> 2. The specific fees to be charged by- the APPRAISER <br /> and paid by the COUNTY shall be in accordance with Exhibit B- <br /> Fee Schedule, which is attached to this agreement. <br /> 3. For additional services to be rendered by the <br /> APPRAISER for supplementary parcels added to this agreement, <br /> in the same manner as described previously, the APPRAISER <br /> shall receive additional compensation at the rates shown on <br /> Exhibit B attached to this agreement. Such services shall be <br /> submitted to the COUNTY within the same timeframe as outlined <br /> previously in SECTION V. <br /> 4. For services as an expert witness for the COUNTY in <br /> judicial proceedings, including formal pre-trial conference, <br /> as provided with respect to any property appraised by the <br /> APPRAISER pursuant to this agreement, the APPRAISER and the <br /> COUNTY hereby agree that the fair and reasonable compensation <br /> for the APPRAISER'S services shall be at the rate of $150.00 <br /> per day for each day of court testimony and/or pre-trial. <br /> conference. In the event such attendance shall be for one- <br /> half day or less, compensation shall be made on the basis of <br /> $75. 00 for such half-day. <br /> The payments outlined above shall be made to the <br /> APPRAISER by the COUNTY subject to completion of the required <br /> service appropriate recognition by the court of the APPRAISER <br /> as an expert witness and the receipt of an appropriate <br /> requisition. <br />
