identified and evaluated . At a minimum, alternatives <br /> selected for study will include the Seven Mile Creek <br /> site and expansion of Corporation Lake . Evaluation <br /> criteria will include the following : <br /> a . Topographic and geophysical characteristics of the <br /> site. <br /> b. Required storage volume based on low flow <br /> hydrologic calculations . <br /> c. Land and building acquisitions and required <br /> relocations of highways and roads . <br /> d . Drainage area location and characteristics as <br /> related to present and expected future water <br /> quality and suitability for use as a public water <br /> supply. <br /> 4. The feasibility of utilizing raw water from Jordan Lake <br /> in lieu of constructing a new reservoir will be <br /> evaluated . Consideration will be given to the <br /> advantages of a water treatment plant facility located <br /> near the lake intake source . Evaluation criteria will <br /> include availability of suitable intake site ( s ) , <br /> pipeline routings , treatability and water quality, and <br /> the feasibility of regional utilization . <br /> 5 . A preliminary feasibility assessment will be made for <br /> each alternative identified .
