BOGC <br /> PUBLIC OTHER. <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: X HIGH_ MIDDLE LOW <br /> COMMENT: To bring the ordinance provisions into I <br /> compliance with the General Statutes. <br /> EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: AUGUST 26, 1986 <br /> ********************** <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: The proposed amendment would bring the <br /> provisions of the Orange County <br /> Subdivision Regulations into compli- <br /> ance with the North Carolina Uniform <br /> Plat Law. <br /> ISSUES/ IMPACTS: The proposed amendment would replace <br /> the current provisions for plat <br /> dimensions with a minimum/maximum <br /> provision . The amendment would <br /> eliminate confusion between the <br /> regulations/requirements of the <br /> Planning Department and the Register <br /> of Deeds/Land Records departments. <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISION(S) : <br /> SECTION III -- E - 5 a. Final Plats shall be drawn <br /> in waterproof ink on satisfactory <br /> reproducable material on sheets of <br /> the following sizes: either (a) 21" <br /> x 30", (b) 12" x 18" or (c) 18" x <br /> 24" . When more than one sheet is <br /> required to include the entire <br /> subdivision, all sheets shall be of <br /> the same size and shalt show appro- <br /> priate match marks on each sheet and <br /> appropriate references to other <br /> sheets of the subdivision. The scale. <br /> of the plat shall be at one ( 1 ) inch <br /> equals one-hundred ( 100) feet, or one <br /> ( 1 ) inch equals fifty (50) feet, <br /> whichever is most appropriate in the <br /> determination of the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENT(S) : <br />
