Barlow, Jr and <br /> Robert • Falrcloth to correct an error - in the - <br /> Zoning Atlas. <br /> NEED: The Planning Department initiated the request <br /> following a complaint about the nature of the use _ <br /> (auto repair shop) on Lot 11 of Tax Map 30 in <br /> Cheeks Township. An adjoining lot, Lot 10, was <br /> incorrectly designated Existing Commercial (EC-5) <br /> at the time Cheeks Township was zoned (October 12 <br /> 1984) . <br /> Lot 10 is a vacant, wooded lot and is 0.98 acres <br /> (42,511 square feet) in size. . Lot 11 is 0.72. <br /> acres (31 , 188 square feet) in size and contains <br /> • five (5) buildings - a 26'x28' residence, store <br /> • building, trailer, 9'x13' shed and 311x35' _ <br /> garage. Both lots front on U.S. Highway 70 and <br /> are situated between Frazier Road (SR 1310) and Redman Crossing (SR 1399) . At the time Cheeks <br /> Township was zoned, Lot 11 was occupied by <br /> Tyndall 's Gas and Grocery, and Lawn Mower <br /> RepairShop. <br /> Both lots are designated Ten Year Transition and <br /> Water Supply Watershed in the Land Use Plan. The <br /> present zoning of Lot 10 is Existing . Commercial <br /> (EC-5) , while the proposed zoning classification <br /> is R-1 Residential .
