Established 1759 as <br /> Anglican church . Admitted to Episcopal Convention <br /> in 1819 . Church discontinued due to declining <br /> membership in early 1930 ' s, although homecomings <br /> were reported as still occurring every August in <br /> 1953 record of Orange County history . Chapel is <br /> currently part of St . Mary 's School complex . <br /> Building is simple brick with pier buttresses and a <br /> high open ceiling supported by blackened hand-hewn <br /> beams .
