ORANGE COUNTY <br /> and <br /> u TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> CONTRACT FOR SOCIAL AND SENIOR CENTER SERVICES <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as this 1st day of July <br /> 1986, by and between <br /> Orange County s (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor" or "Agency") <br /> and the Triangle J Council of Governments, (herein-after referred to as <br /> "COG"). • <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> WHEREAS, COG desires to engage the Agency to render certain social <br /> services hereinafter described in connection with an undertaking or <br /> project (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") which is to be wholly <br /> or partially financed by a grant from Administration on Aging through <br /> N. C. Division of Aging (hereinafter, along with the appropriate <br /> auditing agency of the entity making such grant, referred to as the <br /> "concerned Funding Agency or Agencies"), said grant being (hereinafter <br /> referred to as the "Grant Contract" and identified as Center Services <br /> Contract Social and Seninr . <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency desires to render such services in connection <br /> with the Project: <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and the mutual <br /> convenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties hereto <br /> agree as follows: <br /> 1. Employment of the Agency. COG hereby agrees to engage the <br /> Agency and the Agency hereby agrees to perform the services hereinafter <br /> set forth in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein. <br /> 2. Local Support. In accepting this contract providing for <br /> $ 79,020 of federal funds and $4,649 of state funds, the <br /> Agency agrees to provide not less than $ 9,296 of acceptable non- <br /> federal cash and $ -0- acceptable in-kind contributions. <br />
