The purpose is to consider removing <br /> Article 6.21 . 1 a) (2) of the Zoning Ordinance <br /> which requires all existing nonconforming mobile <br /> home parks to comply with park standards adopted <br /> 3-18-86 when units are replaced. <br /> NEED: The Planning Board Ordinance Review Committee <br /> conducted a public meeting on July 31 , 1986 for <br /> the purpose of receiving public comment on mobile <br /> home park standards adopted 3-18-86. The <br /> standards were placed under moratorium on 4-7-86, <br /> pending review by the Planning Board . <br /> Two issues emerged at the Committee meeting: ( 1 ) <br /> the "retro-active" nature of the ordinance; and <br /> (2) the standards . Spokesmen for the group asked <br /> that the retro-active provisions - Article 6.21 . 1 <br /> a) (2) - be taken to public hearing on August 25, <br /> 1986 for consideration for removal . <br /> The Planning Director suggested that a special <br /> hearing (September 16, 1986) be recommended to <br /> the Board of Commissioners with the schedule for <br /> processing as follows: <br /> 8-5-86 Planning Board approves <br /> Ordinance Review <br /> recommendation for public <br /> hearing <br />
