The Town of Chapel Hill wishes to insure that <br /> facilities to be installed meet Town standards . <br /> Town personnel can make on-site inspections but <br /> 128 must be reimbursed under the provisions of the <br /> agreement. <br /> To provide such services, the Town currently <br /> charges one percent ( 1%) of the construction cost <br /> for streets and storm drainage improvements, and <br /> two percent (2%) of the cost for water and sewer <br /> facilities . The proposed ordinance amendment <br /> would provide for similar fees with which to <br /> reimburse the Town . <br /> IMPACT: Setting a public hearing date for September 16 <br /> would enable staff to advertise the proposal in <br /> accordance with General Statute requirements and <br /> insure compliance with the provisions of the <br /> Joint Planning Agreement. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Set Tuesday, September 16, 1986 as the <br /> public hearing date for proposed amendments to <br /> the Inspections Fee Schedule regarding Joint <br /> Planning projects. <br />
