My property is adjacent to this proposed <br /> garbage dump. As members of the 300 affected families stated, (and as a <br /> number of you planners have agreed) , inclusion of this in your Plan does <br /> not represent any planning in the sense of examination of effects on <br /> residents, the environment, or the quality of life, nor has there been <br /> any attempt to identify, examine, and rank alternative landfill sites to <br /> minimize harm to the county's citizens. You were simple told to include <br /> this as a given. <br /> My wife and I are hereby requesting that: • <br /> (1) This property remain zoned R-1 until a planning process <br /> is conducted which takes the above factors into <br /> consideration, including the examination of alternative <br /> sites. <br /> (2) If you will not or cannot change this proposed zoning <br /> without additional information, then we request an <br /> additional public hearing concerning this proposed <br /> land use before the Plan is approved. <br /> Thank you for your consideration.
