No <br /> Attachment(s) Information Contact: JANET RIGSBEE <br /> APPLICATION <br /> TAX MAP <br /> DRAFT 7-21-86 PLANNING BOARD <br /> MINUTES <br /> Telephone Numbers <br /> Hillsborough -- 732-8181 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> PURPOSE: To consider a request for a Class A private road to serve the <br /> new two (2) acre lot of William & Mary Lynn. <br /> The Orange County Private Road Standards requires the approval <br /> of the Board of County Commissioners for establishment of a <br /> Class A private road through the subdivision procedures. <br /> To receive the Planning Board 's recommendation . <br /> NEED: The applicants William & Mary Lynn are requesting a subdivision <br /> of Lot 28 of Tax Map 9 of Eno Township into a 2 acre lot and <br /> 10+ acre lot. <br /> Board of Commissioners ! approval of a Class A private road is <br /> required before a minor subdivision served by this road can be <br /> approved for the Lynns ! lot. <br /> Currently 14 lots are served by the unnamed private road. <br /> IMPACT: A minor subdivision of the Lynns ' tract could occur if a Class <br /> A road is approved by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Board recommends approval of a Class A road . <br /> If constructed to NCDOT standards the road would not comply <br /> with NCDOT criteria ( length and housing unit density) for <br /> acceptance as a public road. The Planning Board recommends <br /> approval . <br />
