0511 <br /> 6. The County shall provide all necessary information to the Contractor <br /> regarding its requirements or any changes as expeditiously as. <br /> necessary forthe orderly progress=:of_the work. <br /> SECTION V: CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> THAT the performance of the work by the Contractor as outlined in SECTION <br /> I of this Contract shall be based on the following responsibilities of the <br /> Contractor: <br /> 1. If, through acts or neglect on the part of the Contractor, any other <br /> Contractor or any subcontractor shall suffer loss or damage on the <br /> work, the Contractor shall settle with such other Contractor or sub- <br /> contractor by agreement or arbitration. If such other Contractor or <br /> subcontractor shall assert any claim against the County on account of <br /> any damage alleged to have been so sustained, the County will notify <br /> this Contractor, who shall defend at his own expense any suit based <br /> upon such claim, and, if any judgment or claims against the County <br /> shall be allowed, the Contractor shall pay or satisfy such judgments <br /> or claim and pay all costs and expenses in connection therewith. <br /> 2. The Contractor shall not execute an agreement with any subcontractor <br /> or permit any subcontractor to perform any work included in this <br /> agreement or assign any interest in same, without the prior written <br /> approval from the. County. <br /> 3. Except as otherwise specifically stated in this Agreement, the <br /> Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, tools, <br /> equipment, water, light, heat, power, transportation, superintendence, <br /> temporary construction of every nature, charges, levies, fee or other <br /> expenses and all other services and facilities of every nature what- <br /> soever necessary for the performance of this Agreement and to perform <br /> -6- <br />
